S&S John Skinner Swing Hook Fluke Bucktails were so popular this year that we decided to create a bundle. These bucktails were designed by John Skinner and are perfect for ocean fluking and feature a minnow style head with a built in rattle, the perfect amount of bucktail hair and a Mustad 3X Strong swing hook that is super sharp! Use a piece of Gulp! or your favorite trailer for added presentation.
Here’s what John Skinner has to say about his bucktails: “These jigs overcome key challenges met by anglers jigging fluke (Summer Flounder) from deep water. Despite weights up to six ounces, these jigs all have hooks that are sized appropriately for fluke fishing. They’re sharp right out of the package and won’t rust. While it can be difficult to put lively action on a heavy jig, the swing hook produces an undulating action with the slightest twitch of the rod tip. Best of all, these are high quality American made jigs with proper hair density, durable paint finishes, and they’re built to last.”
Choose from a 3 Pack and a 5 Pack. The 3 Pack comes with a 4, 5 and 6 oz bucktail while the 5 Pack comes with a 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 oz bucktail – including Sea Robin! Each comes in a heavy-duty carrying case with a vented back and a Velcro closure. The bag is rugged and will hold up over time. These bucktails are 100% designed by John and brought to life by Stanley and his crew at S&S. The bucktails and the carrying case are made in the USA!
